The SkillCort brand, documented

Everything you need to represent SkillCort accurately — logo usage, colors, typography, and the visual language that keeps the brand calm, minimal, and credible.

Logo

The logo pairs an abstract interlocking-loop symbol with a clean sans-serif wordmark. The loops represent a repeatable assessment system — skill signals enter, evidence is structured, decisions become clear. It is a system mark, not a brain icon.

  • Primary lockup

Horizontal symbol + SkillCort wordmark. Use the secondary symbol-only mark for app icons, favicons, and small surfaces.

  • Clear space

Keep clear space of at least 1.5× the symbol's stroke weight on all sides. No text, icon, image, or edge enters that area.

  • Minimum size

Digital horizontal logo: min 120px wide. Digital symbol: min 24px. Print logo: min 25mm. Print symbol: min 8mm.

  • Approved versions

Black on white or very light backgrounds; white on black or very dark backgrounds; graphite for secondary materials; symbol-only on small UI surfaces.

  • Don't

No stretching or squeezing, no shadow / bevel / glow / outline, no redrawing or simplifying the symbol, and no low-contrast or cluttered backgrounds.

Color

A controlled palette built for trust, clarity, and a premium technology feel. Neutrals carry the work; blue is a restrained signal accent for active states and CTAs only.

Typography

A modern sans-serif system for clarity and professional credibility — Inter, Söhne, or an equivalent. This site currently ships Geist. Avoid overly rounded consumer fonts, decorative display faces, and ultra-futuristic typefaces.

Visual language

Minimal, architectural, and lightly surreal — wide negative space and a monochrome base with faint blue signal lines. Use geometric metaphors like loops, gates, platforms, and paths to represent the flow from skill to evidence to decision.

Do

  • Keep layouts clean, spacious, and calm
  • Use blue sparingly as a signal accent
  • Show evidence and decision flow with minimal geometry
  • Default the logo to black or white
  • Hold a serious, enterprise-grade tone

Don’t

  • Use AI faces, robots, or generic stock people
  • Lean on heavy cyberpunk neon aesthetics
  • Overload scenes with floating dashboards
  • Use literal brain or neural-network illustrations
  • Turn the brand into a generic HR-tech template
